This month we chat with Megan Kellis, community representative for Shea Homes at Carino Villas. Megan works to ensure that home buyers have an exceptional experience when taking the steps to purchasing their new home.

Q: What makes the experience of buying, building, and living in a Shea Home special?

A: The Shea Homes experience is different because our employees are different. We care about our buyers, their families and their experience building with us in our communities.  We have several touchpoints during the building experience to get the buyers excited about buying, keep them updated through the build and help them feel comfortable with their choice to purchase with us.  When a buyer purchases with Shea, they become part of our Shea Family.

Q: What are the unique selling propositions of your community? What sets your community apart? 

A: Carino Villas is in a prime location in Chandler!  Close to the newest shopping, restaurants, many top-rated schools in the entire state of AZ, downtown Chandler and the Loop 202. Carino Villas is one of the only condo communities available to purchase in all of Chandler!

Q: Tell us about a time you helped a family find their dream home, and what it meant to you.

A: Helping a family, especially a first-time homebuyer, get into a new home is the most rewarding part of this job.  Getting to know our buyers, their families and their journey that brought them to build with us is hardly a job. I’m still in touch with SEVERAL families I have helped get into their dream home in the last 15 years and that makes me so proud.

Q: What community amenity do your homeowners love the most?

A: Our homeowners love that Carino Villas is a gated and is an absolutely maintenance free community.  Water, sewer, trash, recycle, brand new alarm installation with individual residence security monitoring, landscape maintenance, all exterior building maintenance, year-round heated pool and spa, and two gas BBQ grills is all included in the monthly HOA!
