It might not feel like it yet, but autumn is officially here! With October right around the corner, and cooler temperatures coming with it, the Valley will be filled to the brim with fun fall events, so get the family, grab your costumes, get outside, and drink up any crisp autumn weather that may come your way. Recker Pointe – Vertuccio Farms Annual Fall Festival & Corn Maze (Oct. 1- Nov. 4)
Vertuccio Farms is celebrating 20 years of family fun, and they’re going all out this year! In addition to the usual top-notch seven-acre corn maze, you’ll find mini-golf, mule rides, a zip line, duck races, pumpkin bowling, and of course, the chance to pick out your own pumpkin to take home – and that’s just getting started. Gateway Quarter – Schnepf Farms Pumpkin and Chili Party (Oct. 4-28)
Pumpkins and chili? What could get you in the fall spirit faster?! Voted by Phoenix Magazine as the best fall family event, there’s so much to see and do at Shnepf Farms. Wander through the two different corn mazes, cheer on your favorite hog at the pig races, roast marshmallows around a bonfire, and close the night out with some fireworks! Find out more here.
Inspire at Estrella – Fall Festival (Oct. 20)
Take a trip out onto the field at the Goodyear Ballpark for tons of fall fun, with train rides, pumpkin patches, inflatables, a costume contest, trick-or-treating, photo station, and arts and crafts activities. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, beware—the new Trick-or-Treat Village will feature over a quarter-million pieces of candy! Find out more here.
Carino Villas – Chandler Halloween Spooktacular (Oct. 26)
Gather your lil’ ghosts and goblins and trick-or-treat your way through the Chandler Halloween Spooktacular. Come dressed in your best costume and enjoy a family night of frightful fun! Activities include ghoulish games, haunted house, photo opportunities, arts and crafts, and a costume contest. Find out more here.
24 North & Vantage – Salt River Fields Balloon Spooktacular (Oct. 26 & 27)
You won’t want to miss this high-flying festival. While over 20 hot air balloons dot the sky, the kids can get their share of the over 4,000 pounds of candy while parents enjoy live music and food truck. Brave the haunted Spooky trail, and if you have any courage left, ride one of the tethered hot air balloons. Mix in some carnival games, costume contests, and fireworks, and you’re in for a heart-pounding night of spooky fun. Find out more here.
Vallarta at Verrado – 76th Annual Halloween Carnival (Oct. 27)
For more than 75 years, the Buckeye Halloween Carnival has brought local non-profits together to host autumn themed carnival games and activities. So come out for some old-fashioned family fun that supports great local causes. Find out more here.
Cantilena – Halloween Monster Bash (Oct. 27)
They did the Bash, they did the Monster Bash… Get your spookiest costumes together, practice your Thriller dance, and come join the monstrous parade at Peoria Sports Complex. When the parade’s over, go trick-or-treating; make monster themed arts-and-crafts; climb the death-defying rock wall; and enjoy the live entertainment.
