Great things are happening in the kitchen of Region’s 117, our award-winning signature restaurant at Trilogy® at Lake Frederick! Last month, we welcomed a talented new Executive Chef to lead and inspire the Region’s 117 culinary team. Chef Brian Whitson is excited to put his own touch on the farm-to-table dishes of this popular Lake Frederick restaurant.
With over 20 years in the culinary industry, Chef Brian brings both experience and talent to his new role at Region’s 117. Past positions have included Executive Chef and Partner at Old Town Grill, Executive Chef at Battletown Inn, and Executive Sushi Chef at Chinatown Restaurant. Chef Brian joined the Region’s 117 team as Kitchen Manager right after the restaurant opened in July of 2016. Since then, he’s been an integral part of our culinary team’s success. As the lead Culinarian in our event department, he’s made our event experience exceptional for Members and guests alike.
Chef Brian has proven to be a great leader with incredible culinary talents, and we’re thrilled to see him take on this new challenge. We’re confident that he’ll take the Food & Beverage team to the next level.
