Trust. It’s hard to say you can truly trust anyone these days, but when you feel you can unequivocally trust someone, it can be a huge sigh of relief, a feeling that’s the same whether it’s your family, friends or even your homebuilder. So we’re thrilled that Trilogy by Shea Homes has been named your number one most trusted active adult builder in America.
With retirement quickly approaching, many Baby Boomers are searching for their perfect home. Location, community, floor plan and amenities play an important part in the decision and for many, the opportunity to start fresh, new (and retired) is an attractive one. So boomers are putting their houses on the market and envisioning plans of building their own – the home they’ve dreamed about. However, building a home from scratch is an extensive process, with integrity and trust at the core of the relationship with your builder.
With three-fourths of customers naming trust as a critical factor in their homebuilder selection, Lifestory Research set out to uncover the most trusted builders in the nation. Lifestory Research Most Trusted Builders in America Study SM surveyed more than 21,500 new home shoppers in the 27 largest housing markets in the United States. The study evaluated how business between buyers and builders is influenced by the trust between the two. When the results were in, Trilogy by Shea Homes was very honored to be named your Most Trusted Active Adult Builder in America.
Lifestory Research Most Trusted Builders in America Study SM finds trust is important because:
- Trustworthy builders foster stronger relationships with their customers and deliver better value.
- The project execution becomes streamlined and cost-effective, with a finished product at a much higher quality.
- While trust has proven to be an overall important factor in choosing a builder, consumers say it is especially important during rocky economic times.
LifeStory Research notes, “Trust is the new currency that consumers are seeking from companies with whom they wish to engage in a purchase relationship. Trust in a builder reduces uncertainty and risk in the mind of a consumer.”
Examples of happy customers at Trilogy communities abound. When asked about his home building experience, Trilogy member, Henry Derksen, was thrilled. “Every team leader was constantly in touch with us, giving us updates as they progressed. The construction foreman sent us weekly pictures of the exterior; the landscaper sent us plans and information about what type of plants we were getting and listened to our ideas and changed the plans accordingly. The design team sent me pictures of my colors, flooring, etc. Each and every request was dealt with promptly and made the experience very pleasant and easy. The home was completed on the exact date that was given us – a job well done!”
We always love hearing from our members. So tell us how important trust is to you when it comes to matters close to home. Was there something about your homebuilder that made you know it would be a good relationship?
