Shea Homes® was honored with four Houston’s Best PRISM awards on Saturday, October 7th at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Houston. The highly-coveted PRISM Awards are presented annually to recognize excellence in all areas of the Houston home building industry.
Shea Homes won the following awards:
Volume Builder – Best Product Design $250K – $300K – Plan 4117

In addition to these four awards, Shea Homes was also a finalist in twelve additional categories for best product and merchandising. Shea Homes was also one of three builders who were finalists for the overall Grand Award for the Year.

Shea Homes opened operations in Houston in 2014 and while new to the Houston market, is one of the largest privately-owned home builders in the country having closed more than 100,000 homes nationwide. In Houston, Shea Homes is currently building in The Woodlands, Cane Island in Katy, Meridiana in the Pearland area, Vivace at Harmony and Laurel Glen in Spring, and Sienna Plantation in Missouri City.
The Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) Houston’s Best PRISM Awards are an annual event designed to recognize excellence within Houston’s homebuilding industry and to support their efforts. This event is directed by the GHBA Sales and Marketing Council, and numerous volunteers from GHBA member companies. There were nearly 1000 formal-attired guests on-hand to celebrate the finalists and winners.
