Q: What makes the experience of buying, building, and living in a Shea Home special?
A: I spoke to several of our home owners to get their words:
“The buying experience was unlike anything we have experienced. From when we stepped into the office to when they gave us our keys, Carmen, Christa and Jeremy treated us like family. They would send us pictures weekly to update us. When we were building the home we were an hour away, so they kept us posted, and we felt like we were there throughout the building. Even though they do this a lot, they made it feel like it was their first time and they were as excited as we were.”
Q: What are the unique selling propositions of your community? What sets your community apart?
A: Our community at Eastmark has a cozy feel. The community has Friday Concerts at the Pavilion and many more events during the year.
Q: Tell us about a time you helped a family find their dream home, and what it meant to you.
A: An active Military couple with five children purchased from me. This was their first home – they had lived in military housing for the past 15 years. They purchased from me and two weeks later they were deployed to Iraq. So they had to cancel. A year later they came back and bought the model home. Their mom came in after they purchased and shared with me that she wanted to buy some of the model furniture for them, since they had no furniture and were on a tight budget. She was on a fixed income so she couldn’t afford much.
I shared this with corporate and asked if we could sell the furniture at a discount. They came back and said, “No, we won’t sell it to them – we’ll give it to them. Please thank them for all they have done for our country.”
I called them and shared that with them. They thanked me and walked into their model. That was the best feeling ever. Just last week I ran into them. The grandma gave me the biggest hug and thanked me. She said she will never forget Shea Homes.
Q: What community amenity do your homeowners love the most?
A: The Pool and the Main Park, without a doubt.
Q: What does living the Shea difference mean to you?
A: Making a difference to every person I sell a home to. It could be as small as helping them in making their tile selection, helping them in selecting a couch online, or helping them find their lost cat that ran out the day they were moving in.
