Residents of Los Angeles County have access to a vast array of cultural and recreational opportunities. LA County has a number of world-class facilities including the Music Center, Hollywood Bowl, Museum of Art, the Natural History Museum, and the Ford Theatre. The County manages 87 regional and local parks, 344 miles of horse and hiking trails, 19 golf courses, 31 public swimming pools, and 25 miles of beaches.
Northridge is a neighborhood of Los Angeles, California in the San Fernando Valley. It is the home of California State University, Northridge, as well as eleven public and eight private schools.
Walnut is a suburban city in the eastern part of Los Angeles County in California. Money's Best Places to Live ranked Walnut #70 in 2009 and #57 in 2011, the highest ranking for a Californian city both years. The city hosts a highly ranked public school system - the Walnut Valley Unified School District, which has been ranked by numerous sources as one of the top public school districts in Southern California.
