Located in the sprawling Phoenix suburb of Peoria is Shea’s Aloravita neighborhood with two nearly sold out communities: Emblem and Ascent. Peoria sits northwest of Phoenix and has quickly established itself as a vibrant and thriving suburb, great for those who want separation from the city without sacrificing entertainment. With Aloravita conveniently located in the middle of Peoria, all of its destinations are within reach.
Nearby multipurpose parks, biking trails, and community pools are available for public use; allowing everyone to enjoy the breathtaking views of the desert terrain. For those willing to splurge a bit more, several companies deliver iconic ways to experience the beauty of Arizona. Horseback riding offers a delightful new way to experience trails alongside creeks and rivers, while being a memorable time for family members young and old. Local businesses such as Arizona Riders, Arizona Horse-riding Adventures, and Betty’s Trail Rides at Cibola Vista Resort & Spa offer horseback riding for all ages. Soaring in glider flights over the Arizona landscape with Northwest Sky Sports is another viable, thrilling option. They make sure the flights over the desert are fun and full of adventure!
Peoria is also home to Lake Pleasant Regional Park, one of the most beautiful and scenic water recreation areas in the northwest valley. Surrounded by the Sonoran Desert and with more than 23,000 acres of water and untouched land, Lake Pleasant offers tons of opportunities for fun outdoor activities. From boating to fishing to scuba diving and paddle boarding, there is always something to do. The lake is a target destination and has thousands of visitors each year.
For those who enjoy the city scene, Downtown Phoenix is an easy 30-40-minute commute. With appetizing food, an upbeat nightlife, and an inviting culture, this urban environment is home to an eclectic collection of trendy bars, restaurants, galleries, venues, and retail stores. Located in the “Legends Entertainment District” in Downtown Phoenix, is the legendary (and newly named) Footprint Center. Home to the NBA’s Phoenix Suns and the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, the arena also welcomes some of the biggest artists and performers each year through concerts and other live events. There is truly something for everyone and the opportunity to created fun-filled memories to last a lifetime.

Another acclaimed entertainment district is Peoria Eighty-Three, also known as P83, located just south of Bell Road on 83rd Avenue. With brilliant dining options and attractions such as the Arizona Broadway Theatre, AZ Ice Skating Rink, and Peoria Sports Complex; P83 is a choice destination for quality entertainment. The Peoria Sports Complex is host to a variety of events: weddings, meetings, festivals, and most notably, spring training. Peoria is the spring training home of the San Diego Padres and the Seattle Mariners. Built in 1994, the complex was the first Major League Baseball Spring Training facility in the country to be shared by two teams year-round.

Due to the convenient location of the Aloravita neighborhood, there is plentiful opportunities for outdoor adventures, entertainment activities, and great shopping and dining experiences. Those living in the Shea Homes communities of Emblem and Ascent will enjoy a spectacular view of the Golden Mountain Preserves in the high Sonoran Desert. Residents also have easy access to premier entertainment and outdoors destinations while still having the quiet seclusion of desert living. With Phase I & II nearly sold out in Aloravita, we are looking forward to Phase III coming in 2023. Click here to learn more information Shea’s communities in Peoria!
