Catch Some Waves at the Dunes and The Enclave

There are many ways to celebrate summer, but one of the best is heading to the coast. When you live at The Dunes or The Enclave, both on the Monterey Peninsula, you are close to several beautiful beaches, including Fort Ord Dunes State Beach, Marina State Beach, Lover’s Point, and many other amazing beaches in the area. The Monterey coastline offers miles of stunning trails for walking, jogging, and biking. Dunes homeowners can easily hop on the one-mile bike trail to connect to the network of coastal trails for a family bike ride!

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is also a great place to spend an afternoon. You can get to know the local marine life and explore the fascinating exhibits featuring sea otters, jellyfish, sharks, and more! The aquarium’s newest exhibit, Into the Deep: Exploring Our Undiscovered Ocean, allows visitors to see the largest collection of deep-sea animals in North America.

If you love cars, you may know that Monterey Car Week is the ultimate destination for car enthusiasts who appreciate anything from vintage classics to modern supercars. Events for this year’s Car Week will be held throughout the Monterey Peninsula from August 11th - 20th. On August 18th, The Enclave’s neighbor, Bayonet Golf Course, will host the Concorso Italiano, a luxury and exotic Italian car show.
