Pool
Summer wouldn’t be complete without a few family pool days, right? If you want an activity to enjoy with your kids during a hot afternoon — or want to get in a cool morning workout — look no further than our community pool! Located on the western side of the neighborhood just a short walk from your home, the Stepping Stone Pool is competition-length — which means you have all the space you could ever want for swimming laps or simply splashing around. When is your next pool day?

Parks
With four parks dotted throughout the community, Stepping Stone offers multiple ways to take in your gorgeous natural surroundings. Stop by the Butterfly Park for a Saturday picnic with your family, where the spacious lawn offers a convenient place to spread out a blanket while enjoying the native flora. Designed to encourage contemplation, the Winding Path Park includes signature stepping stones as well as creative playgrounds. Both Sunburst Park and Foursquare Park incorporate decorative designs into their layouts that encourage you to walk around and explore. Versatility is everything!

Trails
Imagine having access to more than seven miles of neighborhood trails right from your front door. Stepping Stone trails are friendly for hikers and runners alike, while some are open to bikers as well! Winding throughout the community, all trails join with the Douglas County Trail System — so you’ll have plenty of directions to choose for your evening run. Are you already a regular user of the paths? Tell us which one you like best!

The Lantern House
Adjacent to the Winding Path Park, The Lantern House serves as the Stepping Stone community center where you can relax with your neighbors while your kids play at the park. If you’re celebrating a summer birthday, residents can reserve The Lantern House for small gatherings — you won’t have to go far from your house to host a few friends! Use the indoor areas to set up your food and drinks and let guests participate in outdoor games in the large backyard.
