Southern California Backyard Trends!

Easter has already come and gone, which means summer isn’t too far behind! When our SoCal weather goes from 75 to a balmy 90 degrees, the backyard is where we spend most of our time with family and friends. Making sure your yard is spruced, groomed, and spackled always makes for a more enjoyable outdoor experience.

But, how do we transform our yards into proper hangout areas in the year 2017? With a little bit of elbow grease and creativity, your yard will be the most popular place to party this summer.

Small Yard, No Problem

Say your outdoor space is on a smaller scale, that doesn’t mean it can’t be a trendy, comfortable spot to relax with your friends. Try out some of these decor ideas!

Water Features. Installing a fountain is the perfect sensory feature to liven up your small yard. Installing spouts, like the one shown in the below outdoor patio, makes for a tranquil place to dive into a good book and get some peace and quiet.

Lighting. A simple fix to making your small yard feel more inviting and open is hanging up some elegant, twinkling lights.
