4/3/2020: Update on Visiting Guidelines - Virtual Appointments Available

In compliance with the social distancing guidelines, and for the safety of you, your families and our team members, we have made the following decisions:

We are asking that you be mindful and postpone your visit if you or someone in your household is not feeling well, may have been exposed to COVID-19, has recently traveled to countries that have been designated by the CDC for a Level 2 or 3 Travel Health Notice, or returned from a cruise in the past 14 days.

For Home Shoppers:
Our Information centers and model home galleries will be by appointment only until further notice. We are offering in-person and virtual appointments for your convenience. Should you wish to make an in-person or virtual appointment, please contact us at 866-696-7432. 
 
For Home Buyers:
We are providing “appointment only” visits to our information centers/model home galleries and design studios and conducting most appointments virtually.  Should you need to make an appointment, please contact us at 866-696-7432.  In addition, Shea Homes has made the decision to suspend construction visits and pre-close home walk-throughs will no longer be offered prior to closing. Walk throughs will be rescheduled to a later date after close of escrow on your home. Our teams will continue to perform our internal quality assurance process to ensure that the cosmetics and features of your home are up to Shea standards of quality. At this time, we do not anticipate the need to postpone close of escrow dates. However, this is a very fluid and unprecedented situation and we cannot fully predict how COVID-19 will impact Shea Homes’ operations or how local jurisdictions will respond.  It is possible that we may not be able to obtain final inspections or other required signoffs. We are committed to keeping you apprised of any developments with regards to the close of your home.   
 
For Home Owners:
We are limiting warranty customer service appointments to emergency issues only. Please continue to submit your warranty service requests as usual to customer service, but please understand that all non-emergency customer service requests will be scheduled for a later date for the safety of all parties involved. Should your Fit and Finish Warranty expire during this time period that we suspended customer service appointments, Shea Homes will extend your warranty by one month after the date that Shea Homes provides notice customer service appointments have resumed, which decision shall be made based on CDC recommendations and guidelines. 

We recognize that these are unsettling times and Shea Homes is committed to maintaining the health and well-being of our customers and team members during this unprecedented time. Safety remains our top priority.  We are continuing to closely monitor federal, state and local guidelines on social distancing in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding. We will notify you once we return to normal protocols and look forward to welcoming you to the community.

Safety remains our top priority.  We are continuing to closely monitor federal, state and local guidelines on social distancing in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

3/13/2020: Important Update for Our Customers
 

Since the beginning, Shea Homes, a family owned company, has always prioritized the health and safety of everyone involved in their communities.  We take pride in being a homebuilder that upholds a stringent standard of values and policies that support safe environments with many amenities that encourage a dynamic lifestyle and where thousands of families Live the Difference.  
 
There is no higher priority to Shea Homes than the health and wellbeing of our homeowners, employees, and guests.  As nationwide concern over Covid-19 grows, we want to assure you that we are following proper sanitizing and social gathering protocols as recommended by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) (www.cdc.gov).  We are committed to continuing to monitor CDC and all local and state guidelines closely to ensure that you feel confident when visiting and enjoying our communities.  Our model galleries currently remain open and we invite you to schedule a personal appointment with a New Home Advisor ahead of your visit. Given this very fluid situation, we encourage you to check our website at www.sheahomes.com before coming out as operating hours may change.  While our information centers are open for appointments, we are postponing any large group events that have been planned in compliance with CDC recommendations. This includes postponing all March Sales & Club events at our Trilogy, Barcelona and Rice Ranch communities.   We will continue to update you as to if and when these events will be rescheduled. Also, while we encourage homebuyers to visit our communities, we are asking that you be mindful and postpone your visit if you or someone in your household is feeling unwell or may have been exposed to COVID-19.
