Your Home Journey, Simplified: How Shea Homes® Supports You Along the Way

Buying a home is one of life’s most exciting milestones—but it can also feel complex. From understanding financing to selecting design finishes and settling into your new space, there are many steps along the way.

That’s why Shea Homes San Diego is introducing our Homebuying & Design Series—a multi-platform experience designed to help guide you through each stage of the homebuying journey. At Shea, we believe buying a home is more than a transaction—it’s a meaningful life moment, and we’re here to help support you throughout the process.

It Starts with Education: The Shea Advantage

Your journey begins with access to the right information. We will be featuring videos with Shea Advantage’s Lisa Sanshey, sharing insights on buying and selling a home and helping to clarify key steps in the process.

In addition to video content, we plan to offer one-on-one consultations at our Costas and The Hill District communities. These sessions are intended to provide general guidance based on your individual needs. Dates will be announced.

Our goal is to help you feel more informed so you can make decisions with greater confidence.

Designing a Home That Reflects You

As you move forward, personalizing your home becomes an important part of the experience.
Our Design Video Series offers a closer look at the home design process. Led by Shea Homes’ design team, along with collaborators such as California Closets and Ami Samuels Interiors, this series explores:

  • The Shea design process and what to expect
  • Current design trends and ways to incorporate them
  • Upgrade options that may enhance both functionality and overall living experience

We are also working with vendors including Bedrosians and Modern Window Coverings to provide additional insight into materials and finishes.

This series is designed to offer helpful information as you consider your options.

Turning Your House Into a Home

A home continues to evolve after move-in. Our upcoming Organization Video Series with Tricia Fidler focuses on practical ways to help you settle in, including:

  • Preparing for move-in day
  • Organizing your space
  • Creating systems to support daily routines
  • Designing your home around your lifestyle

With contributions from California Closets and Ami Samuels Interiors, this series connects design ideas with everyday functionality.
